Class & Cancellation Policies

Our class and cancellation policies have been established to ensure ease of registration, the safety of all attending the 2nd Story Studios, and a quality creative experience. Please note these may be updated at any time, please check back before new bookings. 

CLASS POLICIES
Enrolment
 in our classes and workshops is limited and accepted on a first-paid basis. Advance registration is recommended to ensure minimum enrolment numbers are met and that the class or workshop will run. Full payment is required at the time of registration online or at the StoryArt Boutique. 

For the safety and enjoyment of all, clients must adhere to instructor direction and posted safety guidelines. Adults use hazardous materials at their own risk. We will endeavour to only use safe and age-appropriate materials for the children's classes.

Classes and workshops will indicate whether materials are provided or if the student is responsible for bringing their own materials in which case a supply list will be provided in advance.

Food or drink are not permitted in the StoryArt Boutique. For classes or workshops longer than two hours, a short break may be taken during which time water, tea or coffee will be offered as a courtesy for adult classes. We are a nut-free centre, please refrain from bringing any products containing nuts.  

CANCELLATION POLICIES
StoryArt reserves the right to cancel a class or workshop when the required minimum enrolment is not met. Clients will be notified as soon as possible. If StoryArt must cancel a class or workshop due to extenuating circumstances, clients will be given notification and StoryArt will offer a make-up class or workshop. 

If you must cancel a class or workshop, a $15 cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining balance can be used towards future classes or workshops. No credit will be offered for cancellations with less than 1 week's notice or for no-shows.
